NVTH Symposium 2026
The NVTH symposium will take place on Wednesday March 25 (12:00 pm) - Thursday March 26, 2026 (17:00 pm) in Strandhotel Westduin in Koudekerke.
The symposium will cover state-of-the-art clinical, translational, and fundamental thrombosis and haemostasis research. As in 2024, a poster session will be organized together with poster pitches, where junior researchers will summarize their research in a one-minute pitch. Furthermore, the Symposium will feature abstract presentations and and networking activities. An amazing party will be organized on Wednesday evening at Kontiki Beach.

Abstracts
Junior researchers (PhD students, junior postdocs) are encouraged to submit a scientific abstract in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis of a maximum of 300 words (max. 2 abstracts per author, no tables/figures allowed).
The best scoring fundamental and clinical abstracts with a PhD student as first author are eligible for an NVTH Award. In early February, we will notify the authors of the highest-ranked abstracts.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 16th January 2026.

Registration
The registration for the NVTH PhD course and symposium is closed. For more information, please contact Yvonne Souverein at events@nvth.nl.
You can cancel for the symposium with a refund of the registration costs until Sunday February 22nd, 2026, no refunds will be given after this date.
Registration includes hotel accommodation for Wednesday March 25, and attendance to the Kon-Tiki party on Wednesday evening.

The symposium will be held this year in Strandhotel Westduin (Westduin 1, 4371 PE Koudekerke).
