NVTH PhD course 2012

Koudekerke, Monday 23rd - Wednesday 25th April 2012

This year for the first time, the yearly PhD course will be open to non-Dutch speaking PhD students as well, and the course will be given in English.

The NVTH PhD course will take place from Monday 23rd - Wednesday 25th April 2012, in Koudekerke/Vlissingen. This year we will start again with part 1 of the 3-yearly cycle, with as topic 'Venous thrombosis'.
The course will consist of lectures given by several experts in the field, interactive sessions such as a debate and intensive master classes. Throughout the course the lecturers and members of the NVTH-board will remain present to stimulate interaction and exchange of knowledge among students and tutors.

The course is intended for PhD students working in the field of Thrombosis and Haemostasis research. The number of participants is limited.

Students who will participate for the first time will be asked for a motivation for participation, in less than 100 words. We would also appreciate a brief summary of your research project.
The motivation and the summary can be described in this form: (NVTH Trainee-verklaring-2012_ENG.doc). The form needs to be saved as Word-document "last name.doc" and be sent by email to nvthsymposium@lumc.nl. Acceptance notifications will be sent as soon as possible.

Please note that during the master classes a brief presentation will be expected from each student of their research project.
